| Window Graphics
Window Graphics are commonly used in the retail industry to display promotions or special offers. They are installed inside the store with the image facing outside, to be viewed from outside of the store.
The simplest approach to satisfy this application is to laminate both sides of the graphic front and back and then display it using hardware such as suction cup hooks. This is a low cost solution and ideal for short term uses.
In cases where the windows are tinted and the visual impact of the graphic will be substantially reduced, the graphics should be moved to the outside of the window and will require different construction methods as recommended for outdoor signage.
How to Produce
Window graphics can be produced in one pass through a heated roller laminator.
- Load your over-laminating film on the top supply shaft and backing film on the bottom supply shaft of your laminator.
- Check your recommended machine settings and film webbing.
- Slowly insert the image into the laminator.
- Trim image to size.
- Apply to the window.

Application Notes
A matte or luster film is recommended on the front of your image to reduce glare or reflection from sunlight in the window.
Use a standard hand-held hole punch to create 2 holes at the top edge of the image - these will be used in conjunction with your suction cup holders to display the window graphic.
Adhesion Compatibility - Ink chemistry varies significantly according to different print technologies and can affect compatibility of the adhesive from the laminating film to the surface of the printed media. We would advise that you take a small sample and do an adhesion test to make sure you have good adhesion between the printed surface and adhesive before producing your product.
