| Posters
Posters are encapsulated prints that are used every day as low cost P.O.P. signage, large interior window displays and numerous other indoor presentation applications.
Although posters may not need to be laminated based on the imaging technology used, large format prints, particularly on paper, tear easily. With lamination, the image increases strength to resist damage and can be enhanced at the same time with a particular finish. A gloss film will make the colors pop, a luster film will enhance while reducing reflection and a matte finish will eliminate glare completely.

How to produce
Posters can be produced in one pass through a heated roller laminator equipped with pull rollers.
- Load your over-laminating film on the top supply shaft and backing film on the bottom supply shaft of your laminator.
- Check your recommended machine settings and film webbing.
- Slowly insert the image into the laminator
- Trim to size leaving approximately 1/8" to 3/16" lamination film beyond the physical edge of your print to fully encapsulate the image and improve product longevity. To laminate the image, trim flush. The image can also be trimmed flush for a different finished graphic appearance.

Application Notes
Adhesion Compatibility - Ink chemistry varies significantly according to different print technologies and can affect compatibility of the adhesive from the laminating film to the surface of the printed media. We would advise that you take a small sample and do an adhesion test to make sure you have good adhesion between the printed surface and adhesive before producing your product.
Please refer to product data sheets for process setting and running conditions.
