| Floor Graphics
A Floor Graphic is made for a unique application and is typically seen on the floors of grocery stores or supermarkets. This product allows advertisers to display their message about new products or promotions without obstructing the aisles used by customers with their shopping carts. Floor Graphics are also used as directional signage to locate products or particular locations and have become popular at trade shows.
Typically, floor graphics are used for indoor, short-term product promotions up to 90 days. It is therefore necessary to use an adhesive that allows the Floor Graphic to be easily removed. An approved “no slip” type of walking surface is essential to ensure foot traffic safety.
The SEAL Floor Graphic Solution is an approved system that provides safe and effective promotional floor signage.
How to Produce
Floor Graphics can be produced in one pass through a heated or cold roller laminator.
- Trim your print to size before laminating.
- Load your over-laminating film on the top supply shaft and adhesive on the bottom supply shaft of your laminator.
- Check your recommended machine settings and film webbing.
- Slowly insert the image into the laminator.
- Your floor graphic must be encapsulated. Trim to leave approximately 1/8 – 3/16” lamination film beyond the physical edge of your print.
- You are now ready to apply your floor graphic to the floor. Clean floor surface before graphic application.

Smooth, flat, hard surfaces i.e. Vinyl, Marble, Varnished Wood, Tiled Flooring
Removing the Graphic from the Floor
The adhesive can easily be removed from the floor for up to 30 days after initial application. If left down for a longer period of time, adhesive residue may remain on the floor surface, this can be removed using mineral spirits.
Application Notes
Adhesion Compatibility - Ink chemistry varies significantly according to different print technologies and can affect compatibility of the adhesive from the laminating film to the surface of the printed media. We would advise that you take a small sample and do an adhesion test to make sure you have good adhesion between the printed surface and adhesive before producing your product.
